In short, Kristen is a bad-ass. And so is her van. She game up her regular 9-5 life and swapped it with a mobile life on the road. Her “Bearfoot Theory” van is a 144 inch wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter that’s 4×4 which means getting off the beaten path with a lot more ease. It’s fully off-grid with panels on the roof, running water, etc. I love this setup so much. She’s has carved out a pretty darn-good life for herself if I say so myself. Most likely you will too. Check the link below to checkout her website with ALOT of good info. for folks thinking about taking a similar plunge into van life.

ULTIMATE 4X4 SPRINTER VAN CONVERSION
i like it
This is my favourite conversion yet.
I designed something similar with the bed on the other side where her storage is, but her layout is way better.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing ?
I like how your couch/bed is up front facing out the side door. Makes is like sitting on a covered porch so you can enjoy the view.
Cool setup love it.
Very nice
I love your video very much … your van is fantastic … I love it 😉
i have to have to xlwb sprinter 2 start
this is the only fit out I’ve seen with the kitchen at the back, that I’ve felt could work.
I like the idea of a long shower hose that can be used out the rear of the van.
I’ve always favored a raised crossways bed at the back with rear access storage underneath.
I figure one uses the kitchen more than the bed, so keep it more accessible.
And I am older so like to have a lie down in the middle of the day and like the bed available whenever. Also, if you get sick, it’s nice to have the bed out of the way of others if you want to stay in bed for a while.
anyway, not criticising, just weighing up pros and cons.
This one is my favorite one to date..!!! Absolutely awesome…[!!!] ~
top notch sprinter van
You made a tiny house on wheels.Wonderful
Single or nah? Hahaha
One of the best van conversions I’ve seen. Great organization and use of space.
Well done you
a bathroom! very cool.
What brand are solar panels? Very nice van love it
LOVE LOVE LOVE right down to the electric bike. it’s everything I want and nothing more. don’t need a 4×4 but everything else is a go. I am probably twice your age but everything there is accessible for a senior. Thanks for the tour.

Really nice. One of the best ones I have seen.
Great conversion. Who made it? Do they still have the plans? What did it cost for the conversion?
Will you marry me? ??
Cost of the conversion? Thanks!
Where are ya in the background?
I would love to live like this! Minimalist at its best…
With that camera lens the Camper looks 25 feet long, nice video, I enjoyed it.
This is the perfect van!!! Love it
I’ve seen different van conversions but I always come back to yours for inspiration as it’s one of the best I’ve seen.
Wow! Thanx for sharing! The shower looks very tight, but a great floor plan!
